So I’ve finally decided that my 3-year-old Sony Vaio laptop is officially on its deathbed. It sounds like a motorboat when it runs and the only way that I am able to use it without driving myself crazy is by blasting music or using it to watch a loud movie. Thank god for my netbook.

Because I do still need a high-powered computer to run programs to make my music, edit photos, and eventually video… I’m seriously considering purchasing a Mac for the first time ever. And so… here is my geeky electronics wishlist just in time for Christmas (even though the only one who will be buying this stuff for me is my credit card within the next year… hah).

2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor and 4GB of RAM in a tiny package would be so cute and the 2 apps I’ve always wanted to use (that are unavailable on Windows) are Final Cut and Logic! - 23″ or 24″ Dell Full HD Monitor
It’s cheaper than Apple and just as good or better… not as chunky. - Canon t1i
